A Falklands veteran, an uptight property developer, an influencer and their incompetent instructor are all thrown together on a high-end course designed to help them conquer a crippling fear of flying. Their final challenge is an ‘exposure’ flight from London, which turns into a horrendous ordeal. Lost in Iceland, freezing and terrified, they are forced to face their fears and work together in order to spread their wings… and fly.
Northern Comfort is Icelandic director Hafsteinn Gunnar Sigurðsson’s English-language debut. This empathetic comedy stars an international cast led by Timothy Spall, Sverrir Gudnason, Ella Rumpf, Lydia Leonard and Simon Manyonda. Having premiered at SXSW 2023, we can’t wait to see it take off!
Un vétéran des Malouines, un promoteur immobilier coincé, un influenceur et leur instructeur incompétent sont tous réunis dans un cours haut de gamme conçu pour les aider à vaincre leur peur invalidante de l’avion. Leur dernier défi est un vol “d’exposition” au départ de Londres, qui se transforme en une terrible épreuve.
