Polarise Nordic Film Nights loves European Cinema. So we are thrilled to be opening European Cinema Month tonight with the premiere of Boy from Heaven!
Swedish Director Tarik Saleh delivers a palpitating political thriller, a conspiracy espionage-drama, where corruption and power struggles disrupts the life of a young fisherman, Adam, who is offered the opportunity to study in the Al-Azhar University of Cairo. Winner of the Screenplay Prize at this year Festival de Cannes, Boy from Heaven is also the Swedish candidate for the Oscars, and nominated to a European Film Academy Award.
